In an interview with Parade she shared, ‘Every house that I’ve owned, I’ve had a salon in it built especially for me. It’s a space for me to play around. If one of my girlfriends is coming to town and they need services done… or I’ll play in their hair. They trust me.’

She threw on the bright coat over a zebra dress, which she wore on the Today Show, as she spoke about her new entrepreneurial endeavor.

She also flirted with rumors about a possible spin-off on her beloved character Cookie and got misty-eyed when asked about saying goodbye to Empire.
